The history of Neyen de Apalta has unfolded in an exceptional corner of the Colchagua Valley. Nestled into a horseshoe-shaped ring of hills, the winery produces a treasured red wine that reflects the fame of this terroir that is bathed by the Tinguiririca River, blessed by the sun, and sheltered by the coastal mountain range.
For decades the vines supplied neighboring producers with high quality grapes. Today, 75 of the original acres of Carmenère and Cabernet Sauvignon have been reclaimed and provide the foundation for this ultra premium wine.
Winemaker Patrick Valette, formerly of Chateau Pavie, and vineyard manager, Eduardo Silva were charged with creating just one wine that would reflect the essence of the Apalta Valley. The maximum expression of the vines, the varieties, and the area
